It's exploring the relationship between a 2D paper character and 3D clay character.
The characters are a new creation in life. Character one is fascinated by his environment and explores his surroundings, then interacts with the other character once he see's her. Character two is more fascinated on interacting with Character one rather than what's around her.
Character one does not realize that he is restricted to the page he has been created on, and its borders. For outside of their environments neither of the characters can exist.
This creates our narrative style for the story. These restraints add to the dynamic intensity of the story where the events build up to a climax point and works down to a either a resolution or a dramatic life changing event.
